Nightjar Forest Walks!

The weather since May has been beautiful, with some really warm, still evenings. As a result we've had some excellent nightjar walks and one of our guests sent us this lovely picture of a female Dartford Warbler we'd seen, just after she'd caught one of the many blue butterflies which thrive on the heaths. We've had some great close-up encounters with Nightjars too, often having 3 or 4 flitting low over our heads as they circle past us.
