Despite the cooler and wetter days so far this summer, there's still so much to see on our safaris. Travelling across some beautiful chalk grasslands on our Purbeck Hills route in the last week we've seen loads of beautiful yellow and black banded Cinnabar Moth caterpillars clustered on their favourite food plant, the Ragwort, which is in full-bloom at the moment.
We've also seen a fair number of Six-spot Burnet moths which look very similar to the adult
Cinnabar moth. Great to see good numbers of both these species.
Be sure to book a Purbeck adventure in our Land Rover Defender if you're visiting this lovely part of Dorset!
